Jonathan Stokes of North Lawndale named February AOTM for his performances in the 60 meter dash 6.93 and in the 200 22.99.
Hannah Morris of Bloom Township posted exceptional personal bests of 17' 9" in the Long Jump and 34' 1" in the Triple Jump.

March
JaShuan steward of Provio West named March AOTM for his 22' 8" Long Jump and 47' 0" in the Triple Jump.
Imani Carothers of Brooks  is the March AOTH for her 9.05 in the 60 meter Hurdles and 17' 5.75" leap in the Long Jump.
The April Athlete of the Month is Kyle London, Eisenhower HS.  The Cardinal Senior excelled at several events in April but most notable were his field events:  Long Jump 21' 10.75", triple Jump 42' 8" & High Jump 6' 4".

Tyjuana Eason of Kankakee HS is the WFF’s April Athlete of the Month for her performances in the 100 dash 12.29 and in the 200 dash 24.84. She also anchors their 4x100 and 4/200 relay teams.

Pavlo Hutsalyuk
Pavlo Hutsalyuk has been recognized as the WFF’s May Athlete of the Month.  The Lane Tech senior recorded impressive times and titles including:  50.38 in the 400 m./ 1:51 in the 800m./ he was the Sectional 1600 m. Champion 4:18 and the 3A State Meet 1600 m. Champion 4:08.19.

Bloom Township’s Kierra Griggs is the May Athlete of the Month.  The Bloom Junior recorded personal best times in 25.75 in the 200 and placed 3rd in the 3A State Meet 400 m. with 57.81.  Kierra also ran the lead off leg on Bloom’s State Meet 4x400 Relay Team, 3:59.
Clayton Mendez of Whitney Young has been named the WFF's September Athlete of the Month. In 3A invitational competition, the sophomore sensation posted 2 Varsity victories (9/5 Plainfield Central Inv. 15:56 & 9/26 Ziomek Inv. 15:10) and a 20th place at the 9/12 First To The Finish Inv. 15:02).

Lorena Garcia of Eisenhower HS, is the September Student Athlete of the Month. The Red Bird senior placed in the top 20 within 8 races in September with a season best 3-mile time of 19:33 at the Argo Invitational. Lorena is an excellent student, she scored a 27 on the ACT, her GPA is 4.1 and her class rank is 22 out of 443. She has yet to decide on which College she will attend.

Sirlaurence King
Sirlaurence King of Chicago’s Leo Catholic High School is being honored as the WFF October/November Student Athlete of the Month for his outstanding athletic and academic accomplishments. The Leo Senior placed 10th at the Peoria invitational, placed 14th at the Chicago League Championship. McNamara Regional Champion. Lisle Sectional Runner-Up. State Meet, placing 12th covering the 3 mile course in 15:07. King is also an excellent student, ranked 4th in his class with a
Maddie Blaauw of Joliet West is the WFF’s Oct.-Nov. Athlete of the Month.  Only a sophomore, Maddie raced like a veteran on West’s Varsity team placing in the top ten of all her Oct. races. Maddie’s most notable performances: SWSC Conference Champion, Andrew Regional Champion, Normal Sectional 5th State Meet 74th in 17:57 .
