William Lindsey, Thornton Township High School All-State Hurdler, won the Illinois Sectional 110 Meter High Hurdles Title in 13.86 (State's fastest time in 2009) and place 2nd in the 110 HH at the Illinois State Meet with a time of 14.09.  Lindsey has accepted a scholarship at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.  In recognition of Lindsey's accomplishments in May 2009, he is being named the first Winged Foot Foundation Athlete of the Month.
